Crystal Palace and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the sale of defender Marc Guehi.
Guehi will join Palace from Chelsea after the pre-season training camp at St George's Park, once the deal goes through. Palace have had a long-term interest in Guehi, who excelled while on loan at Swansea last season and Patrick Vieira gave the green light to proceed with the transfer.
Palace have beaten a number of their Premier League rivals to land Guehi, with the report suggesting West Ham, Norwich and Newcastle were all interested.
The 21-year-old will become Palace’s third summer signing following Michael Olise and Remi Matthews.
Just to remind everyone, Marc Guehi appears to be an incredibly sound lad.— HLTCO (@HLTCO) July 15, 2021
Buzzing for him to be a part of our club.
