Miralem Pjanic could leave Barcelona this summer due to midfielder's concerns over his playing time, says club director Mateu Alemany.
Pjanic has had a tough time since signing for Barcelona last year and has managed to make 19 LaLiga appearances for the Catalans last season. Teammate Samuel Umtiti could also be on his way out as he also targets first-team football.
"Both have very important careers, but didn’t get much playing time last season," said Alemany.
"We know the situation and are evaluating the possibility of finding them another club. They are the first to be interested in finding a team where they can play more regularly."
Arsenal are looking for new midfielders after Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard both returned to Real Madrid to see if they can earn a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
