Granit Xhaka of Arsenal is reportedly close to joining Roma.
The 28-year-old made 45 appearances for the Gunners in 2020-21, but he has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks.
Roma are the favourites to sign the Swiss international, who is said to be willing to accept a lower salary to play under Jose Mourinho.
According to Sky Italia, the Serie A giants are on the verge of securing a deal for the Swiss, with the two parties already agreeing on a five-year contract.
According to the report, Arsenal has so far refused to budge on their £17m valuation, but Roma could reduce the price by including performance-related bonuses in the agreement.
Xhaka, who could join up with his potential new teammates next week, has 13 goals and 20 assists in 220 appearances for the Gunners since joining in 2016.
