Chelsea goalkeeper Jamie Cumming has completed a season-long loan move to League One with Gillingham.
The 21-year-old will spend the 2021/22 campaign away from Stamford Bridge, which will be his second, having spent last season away at Stevenage in League Two.
The Chelsea academy graduate made 47 appearances in total, keeping an impressive 18 clean sheets as Stenage finished the campaign as the division's best defensive record despite finishing 14th.
"Jamie is an exceptional goalkeeper," coach Steve Evans said.
"He comes with no promises of game time, he will need to earn the right because Aaron Chapman has made a very impressive start. "We are delighted they see Gillingham FC as a route for the lad to develop further."
Cumming has featured 11 times for Chelsea’s U21s in the EFL Trophy and is very highly regarded at Stamford Bridge.
