Bologna Announce Arnautovic Signing with Uncanny Teaser

After spending the 2009/10 season on loan at Inter as part of Jose Mourinho's treble-winning Nerazzurri, Austrian veteran Marko Arnautovic returns to Serie A.

This transfer window, Bologna has presented Arnautovic as their marquee summer signing.

The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Shanghai Port for a rumored transfer price of €3 million plus €1 million in bonuses, becoming only the fourth Austrian has ever played for the storied Italian club.

During EURO 2020, the striker's transfer circumstances altered, forcing Bologna to renegotiate his transfer cost. Originally, he was scheduled to arrive on a free transfer.

His deal was finalized on August 1, and despite the fact that it had been disclosed a week prior, only an official announcement from the club was needed. The Rossoblu honored the occasion with a strange clip that might easily be used as a trailer for a well-made horror film.
