FC Barcelona has received a timely boost with midfielder Philippe Coutinho returning to training ahead of the new season.
Marca says Coutinho reappeared at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper for training with Barcelona on Monday with the player doing some running, fitness work, and some drills on the ball as he regains fitness.
The player's future at the club is however still uncertain as it has been reported before that manager Ronald Koeman wants to offload him something that has been supported by his bosses who want money to reduce their wage bill.
The Brazilian was joined by his compatriot, Emerson, who took part in his first session with the club after undergoing a medical; the latter joining as a new signing from Real Betis.
Emerson was then presented at Camp Nou on Monday evening on a day that Sergio Aguero was also present as he worked on an individual training regime.
