🎯 Odsonne Édouard set a new record in Spurs win

Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Édouard has set a new Premier League record in their 3-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

The Frenchman replaced Christian Benteke with seven minutes to play and scored 28 seconds after coming on after being teed by Wilfried Zaha.

His second in injury time only made it sweeter for manager Patrick Viera who recorded his first win as the Palace boss since taking over the summer from Roy Hodgson.

In scoring his first goal, Édouard's was the fastest goal scored by a player on their Premier League debut, breaking the record set by Thievy for West Brom against Crystal Palace in February 2014 (36 seconds).

The striker joined Palace in the summer from Celtic on a £15 million move with his strikes ending Tottenham's perfect start of the season where they had won their first three games; the Nuno Espirito Santo side finishing the game with ten men after Tanganga had been sent off earlier on
