Haller puts on a show, PSG misfire; Man City run riot in entertaining night of Champions League football

The UEFA Champions League entered day two of Matchday One on Wednesday night and it served the best European club football, as a total of 28 goals were scored in eight matches.

Ajax, Man City, and Liverpool were the biggest winners of the night, scoring a total of 14 goals between them. 

Sebastien Haller put on a show in his Champions League debut, scoring four of Ajax's five against Sporting. 

It was a beautiful spectacle in Merseyside as Liverpool came from behind to beat AC Milan 3-2 in an entertaining clash. 

Mohamed Salah missed a penalty but later atoned for the miss as he led the comeback after the Italians had taken a 2-1 lead at half-time. 

In Manchester, Pep Guardiola's Blue army swept aside RB Leipzig in a nine-goal thriller that ended 6-3 in favour of last season's finalists. 

Christopher Nkunku however grabbed the headlines with a stunning hat-trick.
