Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is not sure whether or not Mason Mount will be fit for Wednesday night's Champions League clash away at Juventus.
The England international missed the Bluess' 1-0 home loss against Man City on Saturday with a minor injury, which he picked during a Carabao Cup clash against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Speaking ahead of the match, Tuchel was noncommittal on the 22-year-old's availability.
"I absolutely don't know, we have to see," he said. "In the end, it will be a matter of hours as to whether he makes it or not,"
In case he will not be fit though, another English midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has played in the last three games, could be on the list to feature.
"I was happy with Ruben, otherwise he could not have had the chance to come on,’ says his manager.
"He played against Zenit and he played against Aston Villa, and now he played this 15 minutes. He could not be involved without deserving it,"
Chelsea won their group opener 1-0 against Zenit St. Petersburg, while Massimo Allegri's side beat Swedish side Malmo 3-0.
