Kenya's hopes of featuring in next year's World Cup are all but over after they lost 1-0 to Mali on Sunday afternoon in Nairobi.
Ibrahima Kone scored the lone goal in the 55th minute as Mali completed the double following their 5-0 win in the first leg.
The forward has now scored four against stars, having grabbed a hattrick last week in Morocco.
The win meant Mali occupy top spot in the group with 10 points from 4 matches while Uganda, who saw off Rwanda 1-0, are third.
The central Africa nation is bottom of the group with just a single point.
The loss at Nyayo Stadium effectively ended Harambee Stars' 2022 World Cup dream as they now trail Mali with eight points.
