The Lions of Teranga beat Namibia 3-1 to maintain their 100 pc record in the qualifiers, with Famara Diedhiou scoring a hattrick.
The win took them to 12 points from four games with two rounds of group matches left.
In another match, Morocco, just like Senegal, kept their 100 percent record in the qualifiers with a 4-1 win over Guinea in Rabat.
The win took Morocco to maximum 12 points, eight more than second-place Guinea Bissau with two games remaining.
