Mauro Icardi is allegedly doubtful ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against RB Leipzig due to an apparent spat with his wife and agent Wanda Nara.
The Argentine forward has been married to Nara for almost seven years, but over the weekend, the couple was the subject of a social media controversy.
Nara initially unfollowed Icardi and posted an Instagram story translating to: "Another family that you have ruined for a sl*t" before the PSG man sought to downplay the rift with a post celebrating Mother's Day.
Nara, on the other hand, went on to post another story with the following caption: "Good day. I prefer my hand without a wedding ring", and Icardi reportedly missed PSG training on Sunday due to the incident, according to L'Equipe.
Last night, Mauro Icardi posted an Instagram Story from Milan that appeared to suggest a reconciliation with Wanda Nara - this morning, Wanda posts: "I prefer my hand without a ring on it." pic.twitter.com/VQOk9hdK8y— Get French Football News (@GFFN) October 18, 2021
Mauricio Pochettino confirms that Mauro Icardi has missed training for a 2nd consecutive day:— Get French Football News (@GFFN) October 18, 2021
"Icardi, owing to personal problems, wasn't able to train today. He's in the squad for tomorrow. We'll see what happens... We'll analyse the situation to see if he can be in the squad."
According to the article, Icardi and Nara have broken up, and the PSG striker's status for Tuesday's match against Leipzig is now unknown. Nara previously dated Icardi's Argentine teammate Maxi Lopez.
Icardi has three goals in 11 games across all competitions this season, and he played the entire 90 minutes in PSG's 2-1 victory against Angers on Friday night.
