Solskjaer talks up Pogba commitment after contract comments

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Paul Pogba's future, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated that the Frenchman is satisfied at the club.

Pogba's contract at Old Trafford hasn't been extended beyond 2022, and he's been linked with a free transfer to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

However, the ex-Juventus midfielder recently stated that he is enjoying life in Manchester as he nears the end of his United contract, and Solskjaer has now mirrored Pogba's sentiments.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Solskjaer said: "Talks between Paul and the club I can't comment. But of course, if Paul is happy here; that's great because then we get the best football from Paul. That is every single player here, we need everyone to be giving everything they have.

"You see the reaction from everyone after the game. Paul's first pump as you said. When we block, when we save some chances everyone's giving what they can for the team. Paul is one of them as well I have to praise him for that."

Pogba has seven assists in 11 games across all events this season, but he has now gone seven games without scoring or providing an assist.
