Earlier on Sunday, Napoli edged to a 1-0 win at struggling Salernitana and, like Milan, have won 10 of their first 11 games this term.

In La Liga, Real Sociedad went back to the top of La Liga after a 1-1 draw with their rivals Athletic Bilbao who scored their goal in an injury-time equalizer.
Alexander Isak had given Sociedad a 58th-minute lead from the penalty spot. Just as they were contemplating a three-point advantage on Real Madrid and Sevilla at the top, Bilbao leveled in stoppage time. Iker Muniain’s free-kick beat Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro’s failed attempt to punch the ball clear.
Atlético Madrid put an end to their winless run by beating Real Betis 3-0 to stay within range of the Spanish league leaders. Goals from Yannick Carrasco and João Félix, and an own-goal by Betis defender German Pezzella moved them within two points of leaders Real Madrid, Sevilla, and Real Sociedad.
