Serie A giants Juventus are looking for clubs interested in signing midfielder Aaron Ramsey in January.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ramsey is no longer in the club’s plans which has seen him start looking for a new opportunity with a return to the Premier League thought to be a possibility.
The 30-year-old is one of the highest earners at Juve and with consistent injuries and lack of form, Juve feels that scrapping him off their wage bill will be a great thing for the club as they seek to create space for players who can help them compete for titles.
In his debut season in Juventus after leaving Arsenal, the Welshman scored three goals and provided an assist in 24 matches. The following season, Ramsey did better with two goals and five assists in 22 matches.
Juventus are still planning to find a solution to sell Aaron Ramsey in January. He’s out of the plans and looking for a potential new challenge. ⚪️🏴 #Juventus— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) November 9, 2021
…while Juan Cuadrado will soon extend his contract with Juventus - and Paulo Dybala too. 🤝
Ramsey has only managed one league appearance this season and has appeared twice in the Champions League with manager Massimiliano Allegri preferring Weston McKennie and Manuel Locatelli in midfield.
The club has plenty of other options off the bench as well which include Arthur, Adrien Rabiot, and Rodrigo Bentancur who seemed to be preferred over Ramsey.
