Chelsea managers with fewest goals conceded after first 50 games

Thomas Tuchel has set new records at Chelsea since taking over from Frank Lampard on 26 January 2021. 

Tuchel came midway through the season and transformed a team that was struggling into one unstoppable team. 

The Blues run riot in the midweek, beating Juventus 4-0 in the Champions League and it was yet again another notable milestone for the German. 

Tuchel has now been in charge for 50 games in all competitions since his appointment and we take a look at the number of goals he has conceded compared to other coaches who have managed the Blues. 


In his first 50 matches in all competitions, Tuchel's side has conceded only 24 goals. 

The German has led the Blues to 32 wins, 11 draws, and just seven losses, keeping 31 clean sheets in the process. 

Jose Mourinho

After arriving at Chelsea in 2004, Jose Mourinho guided Chelsea to the maiden Premier League title in emphatic fashion. The Blues dominated during that season as they attained 95 points, finishing 12 points clear of champions Arsenal. 

The Blues conceded 15 league goals the entire season managing 25 clean sheets. 

In his first 50 matches in charge, Mourinho's side conceded only 27 goals.
