Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria: The stats, team news

The Super Eagles will be up against Guinea-Bissau in their last group stage match at Roumde Adjia Stadium tonight.

Nigeria is at the top of the table with six points having won their first two opening matches as well as securing a place in the knockout stages already. The Super Eagles beat Egypt and Sudan and a win against Bissau will see them become the only team to advance to the last 16 with a 100% record.

Guinea-Bissau will be hoping to stun Nigeria and advance to as one of the best third-placed teams having picked only a single point in their first two opening matches.

It is likely that Nigeria will make some changes in a bid to keep their squad fresh ahead of the knock out stage matches.

Team news

Guinea-Bissau could miss the services of Alfa Semedo, Nanu and Mimito as they are still recovering from injuries.

Nigeria has a fit squad ahead of the tie and the head coach will have the chance to rotate his squad.
