Sofapaka FC has been handed a major boost with defender Nixon Omondi available for selection ahead of midweek clash having recovered from injury.
Nixon missed the weekend's clash against KCB with a hamstring injury he suffered during a Tusker match where they lost 2-0 to the defending champions. However, the defender has handed Batoto ba Mungu a huge boost as he has now resumed full training and will be available to take on Gor Mahia.
Ken Odhiambo's side will however miss the services of David Kingatua and Ronack Otieno who are on the sidelines with Malaria.
Sofapaka will be hosting Gor Mahia at Wundanyi Stadium and keen to deny K'Ogalo from completing a double over them having lost 1-o in the reverse fixture.
The match will kick off at 3:00 PM EAT.
