Bruno Fernandes has signed a new five-year deal with Manchester United Fabrizio Romano can confirm.
The deal that will run until 2027 will see the Portuguese become one of the highest earners at the club as he has been one of the most outstanding players in the squad since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon back in January 2020.
The 27-year-old scored both goals as Portugal claimed a 2-0 win over North Macedonia on Tuesday night to secure their place in this winter’s World Cup in Qatar.
He has also netted nine goals and made six assists in 27 Premier League games for the Red Devils so far this season.
The player is set to feature for the club in their Saturday clash against Leicester City as they seek to make it to the Champions League next season; a spot that is being fought for by Arsenal, West Ham, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Ralf Rangnick’s men are currently sixth and four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
