Jamaica FA targets England-based players

Jamaica FA is targeting England-based players as they target to participate in the 2026 World Cup.

The Reggae Boyz last appeared in the World Cup in France 1998 tournament but have not qualified for the global showpiece since and The Sun now reports that the Caribbean country wants to boost their bid for the World Cup in the Americas with a host of English-based players.

The nation has West Ham star Michail Antonio in their ranks but feels that a host of players in England could be helpful in achieving their goals with a number of players already earmarked for call-up.

The list includes Everton's Demarai Gray, Brentford defender Rico Henry, Norwich right-back Max Aarons, Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White and Crystal Palace defender Nathan Ferguson with head coach Paul Hall set to begin talks with the players over changing their nationality.

Other players reported to be on their radar are; Stoke midfielder Lewis Baker, Swansea defender Joel Latibeaudiere, Arsenal prospect Kido Taylor-Hart, Chelsea youth product Luke Badley-Morgan and Fulham starlet Xavier Benjamin.
