Nyamityobora head coach Asaph Mwebaze believes that his team was better than BUL FC on Thursday.
The struggling side proved a hard nut for the self-proclaimed Eastern giants coming from down twice to pick a point.
Richard Wandyaka gave the Jinja side the lead inside the opening five minutes, Yiga Muhammed levelled at the hour mark, Willis Otong headed in to restore the lead ten minutes later before Ibrahim Dada’s 81st minute strike ensured both sides pick a point.
“We should have won the game,” Mwebaze told Futaa, “the game was very tough but we made some mistakes that cost us. We had the chances to win it but we still need to do some work.”
The result lifted Nyamityobora to 14th on the log with 9 points, five below the safety line. BUL remained 5th with 23 points.
