SUPL: Nyamityobora stun Police at Lugogo

Nyamityobora Football Club launch their second round of the Uganda Premier League in high gear with a 4-1 thumping victory over Police at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo.

The western Uganda side won only two games in the first round but managed to stage to pump four past the cops.

Ibrahim Dada was awarded the man of the match for his contribution and two quick goals in the 22nd and 40th minutes.

He completed his hat trick in the 89th minute to put the game beyond Police's reach.

Arafat Galiwango had pulled one back for the Abdallah Mubiru-coached side but were unable to pull a miracle.

The victory lifts Nyamityobora from the bottom to 14th place with 12 points, just two below the red line. Police drops one place to 9th with 21 points.
