FUFA Big League club Wakiso Giants have boosted their striking force with Norman Ojik as their new signing from Police FC.
Ojik signed a three-year deal with the club and has been tipped to help with goals which Wakiso are in desperate need of.
He reportedly struggled, to say the least, to find a footing at Police and struggled to command a starting slot at the Cops since his transfer from Kansai Plascon Football Club.
In his first season at Police, Ojik scored six goals with two goals in the latter first half of the current 2018/19 season.
"He is one of the promising forwards and he brings with him experience, ambition and qualities that make the team stronger," Ibrahim Kirya said.
"It is a great opportunity for me to show my capabilities, I am here to score goals and help the club gain promotion to the premier league," Ojik said.
Ojik joins Wakiso Giants at a time they released a couple of players to Entebbe Football Club as Eddie Mubiru, Jimmy Lule, goalkeeper Robert Ssaka among others.
Wakiso Giants host Lira’s Amuka Bright Stars at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Jinja on Thursday, 30th January 2019 in the first game of the second round.
