Simeone Masaba believes that his Onduparaka troop is ready to battle KCCA FC in a Uganda Premier League clash on Tuesday at Lugogo.
The Caterpillars have lost their two visits to KCCA’s Lugogo heavily conceding eleven goals and scoring only one.
They were crashed 7-0 in their first season in the topflight before succumbing to a 4-1 loss last season.
But their interim head coach believes that they are now mentally ready to contain the league leaders.
“Lugogo has not been an easy place for Onduparaka but we are ready for Tuesday,” Masaba said.
Masaba says that the point picked at Mwererwe against Bright Stars on Saturday will motivate the team as they travel to another hostile ground within three days.
“We had enough chances to win the game but we were not clinical enough. But as for tomorrow’s game [vs KCCA FC], we are mentally ready.
“We came from a goal down and picked a point from such an intimidating ground. That shows the team’s character. The team is improving every day and I believe we shall be ready for KCCA.”
The Caterpillars are sixth on the table with 25 points, twelve behind log leaders KCCA after 16 games.
