Uganda Premier League club Onduparaka has officially announced former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Sadiq Wassa as the latest coach to their technical staff.
Wassa who is currently the Uganda Cubs goalkeeping coach has been unemployed upon leaving his post at Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA).
He boasts an elite CAF goalkeeping certificate attained from Cameroon as well as a CAF ‘B’ coaching licence.
Wassa is joined by another Sadiq entity, Sempigi, who has been the head coach at Buganda Region’s Kampala University Football Club.
Like Wassa, Sempigi also has a CAF ‘B’ coaching licence.
The two tacticians were each accorded a three year’s employment contract and boost Onduparaka’s technical department that already has veteran Leo Adraa and Simeon Masaba.
Both officially started their work tasks when Onduparaka played to a one-all draw away at Bright Stars in the league..
The Caterpillars are currently sixth on the log with 25 points from 16 outings.
On Tuesday, February 5 Onduparaka visits Kampala capital City Authority at the Star-Times Stadium, Lugogo.
