BUL FC head coach has commended his three substitutes after coming from behind to pick a point against SC Villa in Njeru.
Pius Wangi had put the Jinja side ahead in the 20th minute but James Otim forced a draw with his second-half strike.
The coach brought in James Otim, Timothy Owori and Charles Sebutinde for Deogratius Ojok, Joshua Lubwama and Hamis Tibita.
“We were not playing well in the opening minutes but that changed in the second half because of our substitutes. They came in, did exactly what we had sent them to do and made an instant impact even though we never won the game. We had some chances to win it all but failed to convert them. But all in all, am grateful for the hard-fought draw,” Onen said after the game.
