Paidha return to Zombo with aplomb

There were beautiful images from Paidha town in Zombo district before and after their home team Paidha Black Angels took on Nyamityobora in a historical match at the Bar Okoro stadium.
Paidha Black Angels, formed in the late 70s, were pictured celebrating their first ever topflight match at their revered home ground.
Former Lira United and Amuka Bright Stars forward, Dickens Okwir who is currently on loan from Vipers SC, scored a brace in the early exchanges of the first and second halves respectively.
The club initially held their league matches at the Greenlight stadium as they waited for almost seven months for FUFA Club Licensing clearance.
The win pushed the bottom-based club to 12 points, level with fellow strugglers and Thursday opponent Nyamityobora and seven away from safety.
