New Kirinya coach sets new targets after avoiding relegation

Interim Kirinya JInja SSS FC head coach Abbey Kikomeko is now targeting a top five finish after his club hit 30 points.

In most recent cases, teams avoid the knife after crossing the 30-point mark and the coach believes his side is now safe.

“I believe we are now safe,” he said adding that, “Our target is now to finish in a respectable position. If you look at the table, the gap between us and the fourth team is just five points yet we have about eight games to play. We shall fight hard and collect more points to attain our goals.”

The coach was speaking after his side collected two consecutive wins over Mbarara City and Nyamityobora at home.
