Young goalkeeper Sanon Mugabi is breathing a new lease of life at Kirinya Jinja SSS after joining in January.
The youngster joined SC Villa about two years ago after guiding his club Agape SS to the FUFA Big League but failed to play a game.
“I had some problems with the club and things didn’t go well as planned but that is now the past. Am now a Kirinya Jinja SS player and hope to achieve my goals here,” Mulabi told Futaa.
The keeper has already risen in the pecking order and displaced former second choice Opoka Atino in the absence of Emmanuel Rubangakene.
He has so far played two games in which the club won both last week.
“Playing two games which we won and also winning the man of the match accolade is something that is very encouraging,” his goalkeeping coach Hannington Kalyesubula praised.
“He can become one of the best goalkeepers if he works hard and listens to instructions,” the former national team goalkeeper said.
