Spezia striker David Okereke is reportedly in line to make his debut for the Nigeria U23s when they take on Libya in a U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in March. 

Okereke who has been tipped to be the 'Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been rewarded with a maiden call-up to the national team thanks to his brilliant performances for Spezia in the Serie B.
The Football College Abuja product has had a hand in 16 goals (7 goals, 9 assists) from 22 appearances in the Italian second-tier so far this season. 
Okereke has been courted by a host of European clubs not limited to Crystal Palace, Inter Milan, Lazio, Genoa, Udinese, Parma, Fiorentina, Standard Liege and Anderlecht in recent months.  
A quick, pragmatic and skillful player, Okereke can also be deployed as a winger.
The Olympic Eagles will take on Libya at the Bengerdan Stadium in Bengerdan, Tunisia on Wednesday, March 20 while the return leg will hold in Nigeria on March 25.
