Shield: Mosha's late goal sends Bandari to round of 16
Bandari FC registered a 1-0 win over resilient Kayo FC in a Sportpesa Shield match held at Camp Toyoyo on Saturday 16th.
The Mombasa based side seemed to be destined for a draw but Benjamin Mosha saved the day as he scored a 90th-minute winner to send Bandari through to the round of 16. Bandari had a brilliant start to the match and came close to taking the lead in the 10th minute as lovely play from Kenga to Agade, who played an early through pass, catching Kayo off guard. However, the chance went begging as Mosha's shot went wide.
Msagha made a quick run on the left wing, passing to Agade who spotted Mwinyi in the middle of the pitch. A lovely play between Mwinyi and Kenga saw the ball delivered to Kingatua whose shot was on target but saved by the goalkeeper.
Kayo had to give in in the final minutes of the game thanks to Mosha's late winner as the ace calmed Bandari's nerves with a cool finish.
