FKF Shield: Ulinzi, Sofapaka shocked as Leopards-Sharks progress

17 Mar 2019, 16:15

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) sides Ulinzi Stars and Sofapaka FC was bundled out in Round 32 of the FKF Shield Cup in their respective games played on Saturday 16 March.

Ulinzi having travelled to the coastal city of Mombasa to face SS Assad at the Ukunda Show Ground couldn’t find a way past the hosts in regular time with Assad eliminating the soldiers 5-4 in post-match penalties.

The same fate befell their KPL opponents Sofapaka FC who were eliminated from the competition by Bungoma All-Stars in post-match penalties after a scoreless draw in regular time; their match played at the Sudi Ground.
