Forest Rangers boss Perry Mutapa revealed the game plan that landed his team a 4-2 win over Power dynamos on Monday in a week eight MTN/FAZ Super League encounter.
In a post match interview with Futaa Zambia he said he studied Power dynamos and knew they were good at playing the passing game hence he told his players to cut supply to the midfield and press high anytime they had the ball.
" I know power dynamos, It's one of the best playing teams. When playing another team they enjoy most of the possession. Our plan was to press them high and use height advantage to score on set pieces. We used Arrafat instead Kazembe at right back because we know Power are not good in defending set pieces so we had three big guys who could head the ball and we scored from a set piece," he said.
" We could have kept the ball better in the second half. They scored two goals they did not work for. We need to work on the defence and game management. It was a good win but we can do much better, " he added.
Austin Muwowo scored a brace while Zikiru Adams and Patrick Ilongo added a goal each as Forest Rangers beat Power dynamos 4-2 . Larry Bwalya and Jimmy Dzingai scored the goals for Power.
