Power dynamos coach Kelvin Kaindu believes his team was completely flat in the first 20 minutes of their 4-2 loss at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Monday at the hands of Forest Rangers.
He pointed out at the defence as being poor and allowed goals which came from nothing in a post match interview with Futaa Zambia.
" Its very difficult to explain . You can't have a game where you are four goals down in 20 minutes. Look at the goals we conceded, They scored from nothing , They had a penalty a corner. The way we defended today was not good," he said.
" We had to be forced to make a tactical change , Withdrew a defender and brought in another and showed a bit of stability. Second half we were a different side with a bit of luck on our side we scored a goal from a corner but it was not given. We came back and managed to score two goals, Look at the first goal we scored. We have to work for our goals as apposed to our opponents which is an area we need to work on but conceding four goals in 19 minutes we were just flat completely," he added.
The former Zanaco assistant coach was quick to attribute the improved second half performance from his team to tactical changes.
" The approach in the first few minutes was not good. The way we conceded the goals, There was no threat but anything that went at our goal was a goal. We made a number of tactical changes and made some few adjustments to our set up . Pushed Larry up and we had a much improved perfomance, " he said.
