Liberty Professionals midfielder Simon Zibo is reportedly garnering interest from Asante Kotoko.
Ghana Soccernet reported that Zibo is on the radar of the Porcupine Warriors after he was said to have put on an impressive display for Liberty which spiked head coach C.K Akonnor's interest.
The 21-year-old was instrumental as the Black Meteors went on to defeat Gabon in the U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
According to information gathered, the defensive midfielder could give Richard Senanu a run for his money after Kotoko missed his influence when he suffered an injury during the CAF Confederation Cup.
Senanu is still yet to be assessed before his match fitness can be confirmed ahead of Normalisation Committee Special Competition and the club believes the youngster could be the right player for the Reds.
Zibo is however expected to play a key role for Liberty who travel to WAFA this weekend for the opening game of the NC Special cup.
