Middendorp loving what he sees from Dax
Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has revealed that he is impressed by the performance progress of Andriamirado “Dax” Andrianarimanana.
The Magalsgy central midfielder played in front of Willard Katsande in Amakhosi’s 1-all draw in Thohoyandou last weekend.
Chiefs’ German coach Middendorp opposed the game’s man of the match winner, Lifa Hlongwane of Black Leopards, saying it should have awarded to his midfielder.
“Let’s say ‘Dax’ deserved to be man of the match, but that’s probably an objective announcement,” Middendorp told SuperSport.
Dax joined the Glamour Boys in July 2018 to bid his time outside the squad, before making his first back-to-back starts against Baroka and Black Leopards this month.
“To get to my subjective announcement, I saw definitely a very qualified performance from Dax – from the start until the end, and knowing he’s probably coming to the party now only, since our Nedbank Cup game against Cape Town City two week ago.
“How he’s presenting himself more and more is very impressive and it’s very good for us,” added Middendorp.
Amakhosi next take on Chippa United away in a Nedbank Cup semi-finals game on Saturday.
