Zambia Super League side Power Dynamos have fired their head coach Kelvin Kaindu and his assistant Chintu Kampamba following a run of poor results.

The Kitwe giants confirmed the development through a press statement made available to Futaa Zambia.

"Power Dynamos FC have relieved Head Coach Kelvin Kaindu and Assistant Coach Chintu Kampamba of their services with effect from 16th April 2019.

The decision comes in the wake of a string of inconsistent performance which has been at great variance with the level of support that the Club enjoys from the Sponsors, Copperbelt Energy Corporation and the drift in the Club's target.

Veteran Coach and former Roan United, Nchanga Rangers, Chambishi Fc, Power Dynamos, Caps United of Zimbabwe and DRC Don Bosco FC Coach, Fordson Kabole, has been given the mantle as caretaker Coach to bring the desired stability to the team and keep it in focus to the set objective of finishing the mini league in the top two bracket."

Former Green Eagles assistant coach George Chilufya will take up the first assistant role with Ken Mumabeing promoted from Young Power FC as second assistant to Kabole.
