Zoo Kericho appoint former Gor, AFC striker as new assistant coach

Zoo Kericho have appointed Demonde Selenga the new Assistant Coach on an interim basis at least until the end of the season.

The former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards striker will deputise Sammy Okoth at the Kericho-based club.

The striker first turned out for AFC Leopard, before his unceremonious exit where he was fired for alleged incitement and sabotage from the management.

He then joined K'Ogalo on a free mid-season transfer in mid-June2011, signing a one year deal with the club.

Zoo has not been registering impressive results, and are currently placed 17th on the Kenya Premier League standings with 20 points, two ahead of Mt. Kenya United.

They lost their last match 3-1 to Mathare United in the league at the Moi Sports Kasarani on Wednesday, and will next play seventh-placed SoNy Sugar on Sunday in Kericho.
