Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Godfrey Oduor believes his team are on the right track this despite their Monday loss at the hands of Ulinzi Stars in Afraha.
Speaking after the game, Oduor who was picked as a replacement for Nicholas Muyoti who shifted to Kakamega Homeboyz was impressed by his charges' display saying that they were slowly grasping his philosophies.
“We lost today (Monday) but there were positives. I think the boys are slowly understanding my type of play but I want them to keep on working. I want to work on their self-play then the teamwork and I believe if we can get those right then we will be a good team,” the tactician said.
The Western-based side has been blowing hot and cold since the departure of head coach Bernard Mwalala to Bandari FC late last season but finds themselves in position 12 on the log with 32 points after the loss at the hands of the soldiers.
The team have a chance of showing coach Nicholas Muyoti that he was wrong to leave them when they come against Homeboyz side in their next league tie.
