Chelsea has suffered a major blow, after FIFA chose to uphold the club's transfer ban that was imposed in March.
This means the team will not be able to sign new players for the next two seasons, although the governing body has given the club some reprieve, allowing for the singing of youth team players under 16 years.
Chelsea's last option is to head to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) for one final attempt to overturn the decision, which can have serious consequences to the club.
FIFA banned Chelsea from signing new players for two windows through to January 2020, after they were found to have breached some regulations in signing new players, mainly under 18 years.
