Ahead of their clash against Nzoia Sugar on Thursday 9th May, Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Nicholas Muyoti is banking on his potent attack to win him the game.
Only three sides, Gor Mahia, Sofapaka and Mathare United have netted more than Homeboyz this season as they have produced the joint top scorer in the Kenyan Premier League this season with 16 goals. Allan Wanga will be hoping to be on the scoresheet once again after netting against Kariobangi Sharks over the weekend and pull clear of Umaru Kasumba who is currently nursing an injury.
Muyoti is confident his attack can continue scoring but urged his defense to keep another clean sheet after doing so against Sharks, "I'd like us to play as we did against Kariobangi Sharks and try as much as possible not to concede because I know I have strikers who can chip in with goals so my main concern is to make sure I keep a clean sheet because I know we can get the goals."
The clash is set for a 3 PM kick off at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
