Nkana head coach Beston Chambeshi revealed that his club was desperate for Maximum points ahaex of Wednesdays 3-2 win over Napsa Stars at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
Chambeshi said the team needed the win and that the boys fought hard to make sure they end their four game winless run.
"I think the boys have fought hard. We wanted this win very much and now we can lift our heads as we look forward to our next game," He said.
"Napsa put up a good fight . We had to come back from a goal down twice . Am happy with the strike force at least they are fighting but all we need now is to work on out mistakes in defence," He added.
Nkana beat Napsa Stars 3-2 on Wednesday thanks to goals from Richard Ocran, Yannick Mulenda and Duncan Otieno to move 6th place on the log leapfrogging Power dynamos who dropped to 7th place.
