Chelsea are set to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi the club's famous number 10 jersey, in a bid to persuade him to stay at Stamford Bridge.
According to reports within the club, the young Englishman will take over the jersey, which is currently worn by Belgian Eden Hazard, who is said to be leaving for Real Madrid in coming weeks.
The 28-year-old has reportedly agreed on personal teams with Real Madrid, and the deal is expected to go through and announced after the club's Europa League final against Arsenal.
Odoi is seen by many at the club as Hazard's natural replacement, and they would want to tie him down on a long-term contract.
The 19-year-old came through the Blue's academy ranks and has since developed into one of the brightest youngsters in European football.
His growth has attracted Europe's top clubs, with Bayern Munich failing in four different bids for the winger in January.
The Germany champions are said to be readying another bid at the end of the current campaign but will face a daunting task in convincing Chelsea to sell one of their prized assets.
Odoi is currently recovering from an injury he suffered that ended his season and is expected to be back before the start of the next campaign.
