Eagles qualify for CAF Champions League and ABSA Cup

Green Eagles have qualified for the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League and ABSA Cup following a goalless draw between team Kopala, Buildcon and twelve time Super league Champions, Nkana.

Eagles who are top of Stream B with 35 points beat Lumwana Radiants 2-0 yesterday and qualified for CAF inter Club Competitions but needed Buildcon to drop points for them to comfirm finishing top of Stream B to qualify for Champions League football.

Nkana and Eagles played out to a goalless draw this afternoon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to confirm the Choma sides qualification and knock Nkana out of the race for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Eagles will play Napsa Stars in their final game but can even afford to lose the match but will first finish top. Second place in Stream B is still up for grabs as Buildcon and Nkwazi are both still in with a chance to play CAF Confederation Cup.
