Nigeria international midfielder Frank Onyeka has officially signed a five-year contract extension with FC Midtjylland according to the club's official website.
The 21-year-old earned the contract extension due to his strong work ethic as well as tremendous physical strength which he has showcased throughout the season.
Speaking on the new multi-year deal, Onyeka said : ''I continue to work hard, and my goal is to become a regular part of the starting line-up in the club. It has been a sensible spring for me, so it is a good starting point for the coming years' work''.
Sports Manager Svend Graversen added: ''We are talking about a player who, over several seasons, has developed very positively in our environment.
''In the longer term, we see him as part of our central midfield, and we know he is a humble person who will work hard to achieve his goals''.
Onyeka joined FC Midtjylland in 2015 and has made approximately 47 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
