Muwowo less Forest Rangers edge Nkana

Forest Rangers came from a goal down to beat Nkana 2-1 ending a four game winless run to move to fourth place on the Stream B log table.

Forest and Nkana went into the match knowing it had no significance on the log as both teams had already been knocked out of the race to play continental football prior to Wednesdays encounter. Austin Muwowo did not travel with the team as he was not eligible to feature in this match being a Nkana player on loan.

Nkana were the first to strike as Ronald Kampamba headed home 17 minutes into the first half.Forest Rangers levelled matters five minutes later thanks to a Webster Muzaza close range finish .

The match went to the break level at one all. Webster Muzaza grabbed the winner in the 68th minute to hand Fole Malembe maximum points and help then move to 4th on the log with 26, points two adrift of Nkwazi in third place.
