Sofapaka forward Umaru Kasumba has been named April Player of the Month for the second time this season in a ceremony held at Eastleigh Secondary School on Friday 24th May.
Kasumba has beaten AFC Leopard’s forward Whyvonne Isuza and Kakamega Homeboyz Allan Wanga to the award. This is the second time this season the Ugandan has bagged the award after he claimed it in the month of February 2019.
“I knew you would come back and give me another award. I’m a believer so when I told you that I’ll win it again before the season ends it was out of my faith,” said Kasumba.
Kasumba, who has netted 17 goals, one behind top scorer Allan Wanga, was in fine form last managed as he managed to score seven goals.
