ZSL Preview: Muwowo with one eye on Golden boot as Forest host MUZA

Austin Muwowo will lead Forest Rangers for the last time this season when they host relegated Maestro United Zambia (MUZA) at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in a match of little or consequence.

Muwowo who is tied top of the Top goalscorers chart with Laudit Mavugo on ten goals will be aiming to become the first Zambian to win the Golden boot since 2015. In 2016 a Congolese, Walter Bwalya won it, In 2017 another Congolese forward Chris Mugalu won it before Idris Mbombo in 2018 another Congolese.

Fole Malembe can finish in third place but they can not qualify for Continental football but coach Perry Mutapa will be looking to finish on a high regardless.

For MUZA the Super League proved a notch above their level hence they will have to go back to the National Division one and try to come back a better side. MUZA are bottom of Stream B with just nine points collected from 17 games.

Forest are the favourites to carry the day and may just be a matter of how many goals the Timber Boys will score.
