Enosh to lead Ulinzi Stars attack against Mount Kenya

Enosh Ochieng will have the last chance to topple Allan Wanga in the golden boot race as he has been tasked to lead Ulinzi’s Stars attack when they take on Mount Kenya in the last day of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL)season.

Enosh is on 17 goals, one shy of top scorer Wanga whose Kakamega Homeboyz team is up against Sofapaka FC at the same time and head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has given him Daniel Waweru and Elvis Nandwa to help him achieve this dream.

The team will have Kenya U23 goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo between the sticks with Harun Mwale coming in for the suspended Omar Mbongi.

There is a place for defender Hassan Mohamed who comes in to take George Omondi’s place and will don the skipper’s armband, as he partners Bonaventure Muchika in central defence.

Swaleh Ali makes his first appearance in the 18-man squad, as does Samuel Mwangi who joined the team during the mid-season transfer window from Kariobangi Sharks.

Ulinzi Stars Starting XI: Timothy Odhiambo, Brian Birgen, Hassan Mohamed, Bonaventure Muchika, Harun Mwale, Boniface Okinyi, Churchill Muloma Elvis Nandwa, Enosh Ochieng, Oscar Wamalwa, Daniel Waweru.

Subs: James Saruni, Boniface Andayi, Swaleh Ali, Bernard Ongoma, Ezekiel Okare, Omar Boraafya, Samuel Mwangi.
