Regional School Games: Three Kenyan Premier League coaches spotted scouting talents

In the ongoing Kisumu Regional Secondary school games, a number of Kenyan Premier League coaches have been spotted scouting talents in a bid to reinforce their squads ahead of next season.

Notably Chemelil FC head coach Francis Baraza, Western Stima’s Salim Babu and Sony Sugar’s Patrick Odhiambo were present during the regional ball games in Kisumu. Kisumu Boys High are hosting the tournament where the competition has reached the finals.

On Friday 21st, Barding High qualified for the finals after beating Awasi High 1-0 thanks to Antony Oyugi’s only goal. The second semi-final saw Gesero book a final date with Barding after edging Kisumu Day 5-3 on penalties after the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw in regular time.
